This is priceless.
So I was on a bus today and there's this two girls from Cedar Girls'. They were talking about Sunday's church and Bible classes and how their class got 3rd in their school competition and how this mutual girl friend of theirs wore such an "off"-looking outfit to shopping the other day. It's all really teenage girl gossip stuff until Girl A let loose a phrase that literally split my face open (with a grin that is).
Girl A said: "when I saw her in her green top and big belt and micro-mini skirt, I almost burst out in laughing!"
I truly died there and then. Utterly dead.
Here I was thinking that being in such a rather prestigious girl school and speaking with such an accented "upper class" Singlish, the girl should've known the basic difference between 'laughing' and 'laughter' but I am sorely mistaken--and very much entertained. *giggle*
