How You Are In Love |
You fall in love quickly and easily. And very often.
You give and take equally in relationships.
You need your space and privacy. You don't like to be smothered.
You love your partner unconditionally and don't try to make them change.
You are fickle and tend to fall out of love easily. You bounce from romance to romance. |
~~~
Sounds just like me. Even though I got no significant other before, I'm sure that if I tried to look decent and girly, I would be in and out of a relationship every other month. :p You gotta keep me entertained and be warned, I am easily bored.
i'm gone for almost a week. did anyone realize it? no?? i thought so. for anyone who is curious, i went to hong kong again. didn't spend as much as i would've liked but i got some nice things.
now for the main story. during the one free day in hong kong, me, my mom and my cousin went to West Kowloon Shopping Center to walk around. my uncle informed us of the many wholesale shops there but i was very disappointed by that trip. even though there is this whole section devoted to selling cute things (looks kinda like far east plaza level one), the shopping place still falls short of what we have locally.
there was this small square of a place that sold lego. lots of lego. they only sold lego. and while we were mauling over which bracelet to buy at the shop besides it, i happen to glanced at the dark displays. and to my surprise, there is the fully assembled lego pirate ship that had caught both me and my bro's eye for years now. there is only like 1 other place in singapore that sells it and there it is, in my face, in all it's plastic Caribbean glory. right above of the epic boat, there stood boxes and boxes of lego chess. complete with the chessboard and pieces, it would've been a perfect xmas present for my bro. reason one: he loves lego. reason two: he loves chess. here's the deal. the shop opens at 4pm. and we were there around 1pm. mom ain't wasting time on the shop and shooed us back to shop around our hotel. poor bro.
now if only the lego shop in taka has either sets...
i've always been pretty proud of my birth date. it's a odd number and there isn't much people who will remember it unless absolutely necessary. i am most proud of it for (also) being the birth date of C.S. Lewis--the author of The Narnia Chronicals for all you ignorant fools out there. :p but all my love and respect for 29th November went out the windows when a couple of days ago, my dad (with his newspaper) told me the queen of manja (dia) celebrity Lin Chiling shares my birthday. oh woe is me for being categorized with her.
http://wiki.d-addicts.com/Chiling_Linit's a proven fact that sai nai or whiny girly voices can get you almost everything. especially if you are a girl and even more so if you are ugly. most guys are powerless against such wilful display of squeaky behaviors. if you are a whiny pretty girl, guys will do what you want them to do coz they wanna please you and make you go to bed with them in that oh so sweet voice. if you are an ugly girl who is (delibrately or otherwise) whiny, guys will still do what you want because they wanna get you off their backs as soon as possible. in fact, the guys will be doing what you (ugly girls) want them to do much much faster than if a pretty girl were to ask them in the same manner. trust me, i should know. i have sacrificed my reputation and pride to prove this theory right. /sobs/
on a positive note, i'm glad to say that i still have friends who remember my birthday and made a big deal outta it. thx to my sisterz (lam, sc, pq, ef, zh, sl, vi, mel) for the surprise breakfast after the bday surprise for lam and surprise ktv. thx to zy for the mayday bk. thx to zaid for wishing me a happy advanced bday way way beforehand. thx to philip who tried but failed to send me a bday greeting. thx to suxiu, my one, only & beloved penpal since primary 3, even tho i know she might not visit this lowly blog but girl, i gotcha card and thx for remembering year after year. i never knew i had so many people who cared enough to bother. that's 9 more than my expected count. so touched, people. so touched.
(P.S. now that i have confirmed my dad's claim, i have one more weapon to deal with annoying little brothers. it used to be 5566 songs, chinese mandopop songs, and other made-in-taiwan entertainment. but now, ohohoho, now i have manja on my side. ph3ar my manja reign.)
[P.P.S. i can feel the pity for my brother radiating from all you readers but for any of you who knew him personally, or as personally as i do, you will never say he don't deserve it. muahahah... poor bro.]
this strange occurrence happened just minutes before. thanks to my quick thinking and fast reflexes, i have managed to capture it on digital film and had successfully transferred it onto another digital platform.
haha... now for some explanations. i was just setting up the timing for the recorder (to record a show, duh). obviously, the process of setting the time involves at some point, a television. so as i was setting merrily away, i came to realize that the date is 3rd of December, a Saturday. hence the 3SA under the DATE. being bored and everything, i decided to snap a pix of my abbreviated name. and due to the small display screen of my cam, i managed to get product no. 2.
(you can just
feel my desperation reach a new peak, can't you?) ^_^"
