i'll admit it before anyone else tells me. i sucked. hahhaha...
what i learnt today (other than the fact that i sucked):
1. starting
2. moving off
3. turning
4. stopping
the pickup pt is paya lebar mrt but mr lim drove me to kallang stadium there. there's a huge empty carpark where other private drivers like myslf got their lessons. he explained the clutch, gear & engine in relative detail at the start. he oso explained the 3 pedals of doom. and then he told me get in d driver's seat & start driving. i got short legs so the seat was like 30 cm away from the steering wheel. talk abt cramped.
so i drove ard abit. had quite alot of prob trying to get d pressure of pressing the pedals right... always too hard (jerky) or too soft (no movement). i blame my thick shoe sole. moving was ok... as was turning. after turning left all day, i didn't quite get d right turn right. always too lil or too much... gotta work harder on right turning the next time i get my hands on a car. haha... stopping was better than starting tho. gotta work harder on starting the car & the initial move off too.
hopefully i'll drive less jerkily next lesson... hopefully... heehee
