The Mother was badgering me to go with Dad to buy hair dye for my aunt to help him dye his graying hair because Chinese New Year is coming soon and she wants to get him all nicely done up with a fresh coat of paint--just like our house. Hurhur...
So she bugged me for a few weeks and finally, when I was on my way out to get dinner on Sunday, she caught me and made Dad come with me to go look for the dye. I grumbled, Dad laughed.
Today, my aunt came by to print stuff for her son and she told me The Mother told her to teach me how to dye hair so I can dye it for them next time... Every 3 months when the undyed hair grew out... FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE! ARGHH!!!!! WHO THE F*** PLANTED THAT IDEA IN HER HEAD?!?!

I refuse to be at her beck and call just because my aunt is thinking of moving away and will not be as readily available as she is now, living across the street from us. Gonna fight this with teeth and claws, I swear. But somehow, I bet The Mother will still find a way to make me do it anyway. She always does.

...I am such an unfilial child aren't I? :\

Speaking of hair, I can't believe I haven't ranted about mine yet.

Went to cut my hair on the first Tuesday of 2011 at ICON in Isetan Wisma. Wanted a radical and stylish asymmetrical cut, ended up with Bieber hair. Wanted a radical and crazy weird purple/blue/green dye job, ended up with something my aunt could've done for a fifth of the price. Hair stylist kept telling me how bad short hair would be with my terribly thick, wavy and stiff hair texture and how the weird colors will not last more than a week and the bleach needed to get those weird colors to show will ruin my already terrible hair--of course not in those words but you get the picture.
I knew how terribly thick, wavy and stiff my hair texture is no matter how much I spend on hair treatments--which they try to push on me at $85 a pop. I said no thanks. Didn't care and got her to cut it. Then she suggested quite strongly that I don't dye some weird color. Instead, she did a two-tone layered dye job and it became a mundane sorta brown tone.
Paid $150-ish for everything.

...I am forever being ripped off by hair saloons.
