The long and the longer of it
Work: Rushing Project A since last Dec, estimated to finish rushing in Mar. Now that it's Mar, just when I thought I could take a breather, Project B decided to become active. I couldn't take it anymore~! I want a long long break from work!!! T_T Snuck in 1 day of MC and 1 day of leave on Tue and Wed but is still completely unrested because...
School: Which genius decided that writing 5 lab reports within 1 month for a part time module is plausible, please stand up so I can aim my sniper scope at you better. =_=" It's not like we are full time students
Home: IT show from 11-14 Mar, Kino 20% storewide discount from 13-21 Mar.
Few weeks before, my comp was being slow witted and noisy. Mom complained of burning smell but I didn't smell anything. Almost-psychic aunt said to backup my important stuff before it really dies so I did. (I just hope CPU dying will not affect the other harddisk coz I still haven't backed that one up yet D:). Few days ago, I gave my mouse a firm slam coz it was laggy and refusing to work properly and lo! It died. To be exact, the left button died. Me and bro took the mouse apart and found that the left button was still in working order but it just won't work. Had to convert to using the right button for left click and scroll button for right click. Using a modified left-handed mouse with a right hand is a rather peculiar sensation. Not too bad actually. It's always good to shake things up a bit. I would use my newly-configured left-handed mouse with my left hand if not for the fact that I'm just too right-handed. Anyway, my point--I needa add "mouse" to my list of things to buy at IT show when I go on Sunday.
Also, my quarterly Kino sweep is here again. Promised Nanoko in Feb that I'll buy her books when the next 20% comes along in Mar and the moment we entered Mar, she texted me to ask when's the 20% sale. Lol... She and her sis will come over tomorrow and we'll go! (Hope I can wake up in time :P).
So yes, you can see how I might not use this weekend for report writing optimally. T_T And yet, I always still manage to find time to watch...
TV: Thanks to CPT at work whose offhand mention of his recent secure-age of some Star Trek series, I found myself getting all the movies (coz it's the smallest in terms of file size), TOS (coz it's the 1st in a long line of pointy ears) and TNG (coz I'm really taken to Data since way back when and I don't know why). Lucky for me, CPT at work got DS9, VOY and ENT so between the two of us, we have the whole set! Except for the animated series. I violently reject the animated series on principle. Gotten the 3 series he had last month but I still haven't lent him TOS and TNG yet... I'm such a selfish person. Teehee... I kinda jumped the gun a bit and started watching movies no. 7-10 and then went on to TNG coz I don't know if I can handle THE "LARGE HAM" KIRK. *_* The SHAKESPEAREAN HAM is no better but I can get distracted by his shiny. XD Oh! On the topic of distraction...
