In other news, Variety announced that Ryan Reynolds has been casted as the new Green Lantern and Theophilus from ComicBookResources said he/she is "envisioning a Conan O' Brian "in the year 3000, all comic book leads will be played by Ryan Reynolds" bit." I agree with that so much that I'm stealing that quote as my MSN nick!!
Oddly though, I can only find Variety as the only source of this confirmation. Nothing official was released and imdb does not list any actors or actresses in The Green Lantern (2011) entry so I'm not gonna think too much about that "confirmation".
...RR as The Flash, yes. RR as GL, not so much. There's a really good fan-made trailer for GL starring Nathan Fillion floating around somewhere in the net. Cap'n Mal as GL--do want more than Wade Wilson as GL!
