So I spent the eve of the eve of Chinese new year (5th feb) watching fireworks with Li Zhen, Peiqi and Irene at Esplanade. Singletons unite! lol...
Then we went to the new year displays by the (Marina) Bay since it's so near. We wanted to look for Chinese zodiac statues they put up but we don't know where it was so pq asked for our "instinct". Mine was wrong. =___= I thought it was on the left but it was actually a lil to the right in main area at the center.
We took some pictures, chatted a lil and went home. Irene drove and we had a jolly time turning round Temasek Boulevard and then again in Geylang. Plus, we took a longer route back to zhen's place. Lol! And to think I'd been to all those places before...
I really know which exit to take but I'm not 100% sure
and Irene seemed to know where she's going...

Then, I spent the eve of Chinese new year (6th feb) driving my mom, bro, aunt + her 2 kids to my grandma's place. Without dad. \(^_^)/
I can't believe I drove all the way to grandma's house without turning on the headlights! Stupid bro riding shotgun kept quiet on the trip there and the bugger said he's waiting to see when I'll realize I didn't turn it on. Is very DANGEROUS desu!!!!
And then, at the car park, I just had to go pick the lot beside a van. It's a bad angle and no one can see me coming out of the lot. Of course, headlights' still not on so it's my fault really. And I was wondering why they can't see that I'm reversing in and out of the lot. BLOODY BUGGER BRO!!! *Gibb!smacks his head*
The light literally went off
in my brainz when I got in the car for the return journey. WTF! O_O Took a rather short time to park the car back home. Bro was joking about how his first moments into the lunar new year will be sitting in the car, waiting for me to park but we managed to get home just as the countdown started.
All in all, it's a pretty decent drive--even without the headlights on. Lol!

And I spent the first 2 hours of Chinese new year (7th feb) at a temple where people move erratically and hold their bundle of joss sticks horizontally at belly level instead of above their heads vertically.
Like, wtf people? Common sense?!?! Vertical = rain of harmless ashes on clothes and/or other people's hair. Horizontal = stabbing someone else with the burning pointy end of your joss stick.
...And people wonder why I think so lowly of people...
